The advantage to ordering a whole is you can choose how you want the beef processed and the cost per pound is less than if you purchase one cut at a time. Due to market volatility, prices and lbs/cut could vary. To retain bones, fats & organs will be an additional $50 fee added.
What Is Forage Fed?
At Pirtle Farms, “forage-fed” means our cattle are primarily nourished on a nutrient-rich, forage-based silage diet—66% of which is grown right on our land. This custom blend, with only 15% corn, supports better digestion, boosts healthy n-3 fatty acids, and produces beef that’s noticeably more tender, juicy, and flavorful. Raised, processed, and packaged locally in Chaves County, NM, our meat is free from fillers, foreign trim, and industrial shortcuts—just clean, honest food from our farm to your table.
All cuts are vacuum seled individually and labeled.
